estimates, and risks on this site.

Informational Purposes Only
The content on this site — including dashboards, charts, the reward estimator, price data, comparisons, and educational guides — is provided for general informational purposes only. While this site openly encourages you to delegate METAL to the BlockEmpowered validator and gives you tools to do so, none of it is personalized financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and none of it is a recommendation that any particular person — based on their own circumstances — should buy, sell, hold, or stake any digital asset. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.
Our Economic Interest in Your Delegation
You should be aware that we are not a neutral or disinterested source. BlockEmpowered operates the validator described on this site, and we earn a delegation fee — and the protocol pays the validator its own staking rewards — when METAL is delegated to our node. In short, we have a direct financial interest in encouraging you to delegate to BlockEmpowered.
We work to present data honestly and to let you compare us openly against other validators, but you should weigh everything on this site with that interest in mind and make your own independent assessment before delegating.
Estimates Are Not Guarantees
Reward estimates and APR figures are projections calculated from network conditions and protocol rules at the time of the query. They are not guaranteed returns. Actual rewards depend on factors that cannot be fully predicted in advance — including the validator's final uptime for the period, the network's total stake and supply at the time rewards are calculated, and the delegation parameters you choose.
Past performance shown on the Performance page reflects what closed periods actually earned. It is historical and is not an indication or guarantee of future results. You can read exactly how our figures are produced on the Data Sources page.
Risks of Staking and Digital Assets
Delegating and holding digital assets involves significant risk. By choosing to delegate, you accept these risks, which include but are not limited to:
- Market volatility. The value of METAL can rise or fall sharply. Rewards earned in METAL may be worth less in fiat terms than when you delegated, and you could lose value overall.
- Lock-up. Once submitted, a delegation is locked for its full duration and cannot be cancelled, shortened, or withdrawn early. You will not be able to access that METAL until the period ends.
- Validator performance. Rewards depend on the validator meeting the network's minimum uptime requirement for the period. If that requirement is not met, delegators on that node earn no rewards for the period.
- Protocol and technical risk. Blockchains, wallets, and related software can contain bugs, suffer outages, or change their rules, any of which can affect rewards, the timing of access to your funds, or wallet functionality.
- Regulatory risk. The legal and tax treatment of staking varies by jurisdiction and may change. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the rules that apply to you.
Accuracy and Third-Party Data
We work to present accurate, up-to-date information, but we cannot guarantee it. Much of the data comes from third parties — including the Metal Blockchain network, the Metal Blockchain Explorer, CoinGecko, and CryptoCompare — which may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect, and which we do not control. CoinGecko is used for ongoing, current pricing; CryptoCompare was used as a one-time historical source for closed validation period data. Displayed figures may also lag the live network or change without notice. USD values are informational estimates only and should not be relied upon for tax reporting or financial accounting.
No Affiliation with Metal Blockchain
BlockEmpowered is an independent validator operator. We are not the Metal Blockchain, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Metal Foundation or its associated entities. References to Metal Blockchain, the Metal Wallet, and related names and marks are for identification only and remain the property of their respective owners. This site reflects our own independent operation of a single validator node.
Do Your Own Research
Before delegating or making any decision involving digital assets, do your own research and consider seeking advice from a qualified financial, tax, or legal professional who understands your personal circumstances. Only commit what you can afford to have locked up and, potentially, to lose in value. Your use of this site is also subject to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
