Some pages also offer interactive tools — such as the reward estimator, the validator comparison, and the validator browser. When you use these, the values you enter — for example a hypothetical delegation amount and duration, or a validator's public NodeID — are sent to our server so it can calculate and return the result you asked for. These are hypothetical inputs you choose, not a record of any real transaction; they may appear in the same standard request logs described above, are not linked to your identity, and are not used to build a profile of you.

We do not set cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies such as Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or social media trackers. Because we do not place cookies or trackers, there is no cookie consent banner to manage and nothing following you across other sites.

This website never connects to your wallet. There is no "connect wallet" feature, and the site cannot move, access, or view your funds. When you choose to delegate, you do so entirely within your own Metal Wallet — the instructions on our Delegate page are guidance only, and no part of that process passes through this site. Your private keys and seed phrase should never be entered anywhere on this website, because we will never ask for them.

The figures shown on this site are gathered by our own server from public sources — including the Metal Blockchain network, the Metal Blockchain Explorer, CoinGecko, and CryptoCompare — and then displayed to you. CoinGecko provides ongoing, current METAL/USD pricing; CryptoCompare was used as a one-time historical source for closed validation period data and is not queried on an ongoing basis. These requests are made by our server, not by your browser, so visiting our pages does not by itself share your information with those providers. Some pages link out to third-party websites, such as the Metal Blockchain Explorer or the official Metal Wallet. When you follow one of those links, you leave our site and are subject to that destination's own privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of websites we do not operate.

The limited technical information described above is used solely to operate, secure, and maintain the website, and may be processed by our hosting and infrastructure provider as part of running the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade information about our visitors, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
